All emergency closings and delayed openings will be listed on the FCPS website: www.fcps.edu, sent by Keep in Touch messages and communicated via FCPS Channel 21, and local TV and radio stations. Announcements will also be posted on Facebook and Twitter.

There are 3 weather options:

1. Close school for the day
2. Open school 2 hours late
3. Close school 2 hours early

The decision to close schools for the day or to open 2 hours late will be posted by 5:00 AM when possible.
The decision to close schools 2 hours early will be made by 10:30 AM when possible.

1. When FCPS schools are CLOSED for the day, all day and evening classes and activities are CANCELED.
2. Please Note: When Davis is operating on a delayed opening schedule, all meetings scheduled before 10 AM will be canceled. All meetings after 10 AM will continue as scheduled unless notified otherwise.
3. Information regarding schedules will be sent directly to families.
